3 Fishing Days / 4 Nights of Accommodation
La Aurora International Airport
The fishing remains excellent… efforts to always improve at what we do are high on the priority list. In order to give our anglers more options, yet still ensuring they get the very best out of their Guatemalan trip by having us book their stay, as well as host them at our special Billfish Inn, we have added more boats to our ‘fleet’ giving more cost alternatives, and availability to those wishing to look at further customizing their trip.
Fishing on one of our vessels, comes along with the same care and professionalism as they are operated under our strict supervision ensuring the same high standard in service, efficiency and client satisfaction. We have years of tried and tested experience in the Guatemalan Sport-fishing field, so guarantee the best out of your Billfishing adventure.
The ‘Intensity’ has long been a go-to boat for us in Guatemala, with many of anglers enjoying superb days along with it’s Captain / Owner Mike Sheeder. The ‘Intensity’ provides all the ‘Decisive’ has to offer, at quite a discounted price, so is a great alternative for someone looking for a spacious, fishing machine with an
international Captain but to save a little on the overall package price.
Our full-time, highly experienced driver, Santiago Perez will collect you at the airport arrival gates. He will be holding a sign with your name written on and will be wearing a short sleeve shirt with our “Guatemalan Billfishing Adventures´s” embroidered logo in the left area of his shirt, he will also have a cell phone if you need to use it in emergency case.
Once you are in the van, Santiago will call at the “Billfish Inn” and let your host know that you got safely and that all your luggage arrived. The last phone call that Santiago is going to make to the “Billfish Inn” is just when you are down at the Pacific Port, so everybody at the “Billfish Inn” is going to be waiting at the door for your arrival.
A beautiful 1hr15minute drive-through volcano framed settings from the highlands down to the coast while enjoying a cool refreshment will put you with us in less time than many boats in the Gulf or on the East Coast make it to their fishing grounds.
We fish out of Puerto Quetzal, Escuintla, Guatemala. Boats are based at Marina Pez Vela, 15 min drive.
Breakfast is at 6:20 am and the driver is ready to take you to the Marina promptly at 6:45 am. You leave the dock 7 am and return at 5 pm. If you are late, it will cut into the fishing time as the boat always returns at 5 pm.
Back at Billfish Inn lodge hostess and our staff will greet you with cocktails after a successful day of fishing.
After the last day of fishing, you can choose to transfer to Casa Philipps in Antigua (closer to the airport). Or, you can choose to stay in Billfish Inn. It will depend on your flight departure time.
You can also choose to stay additional days (special fee) or to take one of our excursions to get to know Guatemala.
Whatever you choose, you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight. Note that in Guatemala appear time before an international flight is 3 hours.
